The re-launch of F2B.co.uk is the first phase of the new look Front to Back website. This domain will be reserved for our portfolio, showcasing client projects across 2 versions of the website. The primary site is created solely in Flash - an approach commonly adopted for microsites to promote a one off product or event. In addition to this there is an HTML version which is wise as it maximises opportunities to gain a strong search engine ranking, as well as providing a simplified and accessible experience for those who choose not to have Flash installed.
This website (F2Bmedia.co.uk) is to assist our portfolio by providing further information on Front to Back - demonstrating that our thinking and understanding of 'the web' is up to date. Whilst we will always retain our trade secrets in how we treat certain solutions, this domain will evolve to document certain aspects of our business, products and general approach.
In the short term we have plans to add the following sections:
- 'The Jargon Guide' - this will be found in Technology Explained and will be an A-Z of technical terminology
- E-Commerce - an overview to the increasingly popular/essential world of online retail
- Media Stock - our stock photo and prints website that will be growing over the coming months
- Enhanced Website Profiles - some projects warrant more than just a testimonial (as featured in our portfolio)
- Legal issues relating to the web
The internet is ridden with sloppy practices and shortcuts so when a company is reliant on their website it is essential it works as intended, at all times. It is our intention to prove that we care about the work we do.
